I finally feel that I've recovered from the hip bursitis that plagued me this summer. Yeah! I've been running 4-5 miles, 4 times per week while doing elliptical the other two days. I'm ready to try to ramp that up a bit and get on a consistent running schedule. I am keeping my fingers crossed that my body can handle it. Today was a gorgeous fall day so I gave 8 miles a try. It was a pain free 8 so that was good, but cardiovascularly, I feel a bit wiped. It's depressing when I was running 50+ miles per week over the summer and could run long easily. I hope the conditioning will return, but I definitely am not feeling it right now. |
